Drinking alcohol is not without its effects – most of it are not good. Yet, alcohol is present almost throughout human history. People drink for different reasons – to celebrate, to have fun – either alone or with friends. Many young people drink casually, referred to as social drinking, without the intention of getting drunk. But when does a person cross the line that separates a social drinker from a problem drinker?
While there’s no single definition of a problem drinker, many of us will agree that when alcohol drinking leads to something troublesome – whether accidents or relationship issues – then there’s a problem. If you are worried about your drinking habits, ask yourself these questions and answer truthfully to determine if you are about to become a problem drinker:
Am I drinking more often than usual for the past several weeks?
Am I getting into financial troubles due to too much drinking?
Is my drinking affecting my personal relationships?
Have I lost friends since I began drinking too often?
Have I been to a hospital or arrested as a result of drunken behavior?
If you answered yes to most or all of these questions, it indicates that you have a drinking problem. Start taking steps now in controlling your drinking habit to avoid getting into greater problems. It would be good for you and the people around around you.

I am going to a dance club for my 21st, and was just wondering what kind of shoes I should wear? I love heels, but with dancing I think that would be pointless. I am also not really into those ballet looking shoes. Any advice? Thanks!
